New Build EPCs for Residential and Commercial Projects
Because New Build EPCs are produced from final SAP or SBEM information, we can often prepare your EPC alongside your compliance reports, helping you save time, reduce admin and keep your project moving towards completion.
Energy Performance Certification for Newly Completed Buildings
A New Build EPC confirms the energy performance rating of a newly constructed residential or commercial building.
Unlike EPCs for existing properties, New Build EPCs are generated from the final SAP or SBEM assessment information. This means the certificate is based on the completed building specification, including fabric performance, heating, hot water, ventilation, lighting and renewable technologies where applicable.
A New Build EPC is usually required before completion and is often needed by Building Control, developers, property owners, buyers or tenants.
Required Before Completion, Sale or Occupation
Most new homes and commercial units require an Energy Performance Certificate before the project can be signed off or handed over.
For residential buildings, the EPC is normally produced from the As-Built SAP assessment. For commercial and non-domestic buildings, it is usually linked to the final SBEM assessment and BRUKL documentation.
New Build Homes
EPCs for individual dwellings, housing developments, flats and residential schemes.
Commercial Units
Certificates for offices, retail units, warehouses, hospitality spaces and other non-domestic buildings.
Mixed-Use Developments
Support where residential and commercial areas require separate compliance routes and certificates.
Completion Documentation
EPC support as part of the final compliance pack for sign-off and handover.
